Lightspeed Systems Product Lifecycle Overview

Every Lightspeed Systems product has a lifecycle. The lifecycle begins when a product is released and ends when it’s no longer supported or sold. Our support lifecycle provides a consistent and predictable guideline for product support from release to end of life. Knowing key dates in this lifecycle helps you make informed decisions about when to upgrade or make other changes to your software.

End of Life

“End of Life” (EOL) refers to the date when Lightspeed Systems no longer provides fixes, enhancements, or automatic software updates. Support and Database updates may continue until the end of support.

End of Support

“End of Support” refers to the date when Lightspeed Systems no longer provides database updates or technical assistance. Prior to the end of support, you should upgrade to currently-supported versions. Without support, you will no longer receive database updates, which could lead to a loss of filtering or management services.

Supported Browsers

Lightspeed Systems supports the latest two versions of Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari browser releases. We highly recommend you keep your browsers on the newest version of whatever browser you choose to use.
