Release Notes: Rocket Web Filter – December 12, 2017

Web Filter 3

We will be updating the database categories for our Rocket Web Filter overnight on December 12-13. This update will add the following new database categories for social media sites: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. You’ll see these categories in your database category lists in Rule Sets. When these categories appear they will be empty; they will not contain any domains or URLs. You do not need to do anything at this time.

However, next week we will release another update to the database to fill these new categories with the URLs and domains required to run these social media sites. Then you will easily be able to allow and block those social media sites with just a single click.
