This Thanksgiving, the team at Lightspeed Systems is taking time to reflect on all of the things we’re grateful for. Between new features released this year like Smart Play plus the addition of our newest solution Relay and a major update to Web Filter, it’s been a busy year for us!
With the holidays approaching, we wanted to pause for a moment to thank you for being a part of our community. We aim to continue bringing you the latest in K-12 mobile device filtering and management in the years to come.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, here are five things we’re most grateful for this year. Share what you’re thankful for in the comments or tweet @lightspeedsys with #thanksgiving to get in on the holiday fun!
1. Our Lightspeed Systems community
We’re constantly working with our customers and enjoy collaborating to ensure you get the most out of your 1:1 devices. We’re happy to support all sides of K-12 edtech, from the IT department to teaching staff.
This year, we had the pleasure of holding a District Advisory Committee meeting with some of our valued customers to get a better picture of the challenges schools currently face with technology in school and how we can help.
We’re working to further improve the experience with the Lightspeed Systems Community Site to provide the best documentation, implementation processes and resources to get your solutions up and running.
Teacher training is always available, too, via Teacher U. This helps everyone involved in a 1:1 deployment feel confident leveraging the new tech in students’ hands.
We want to thank everyone in the Lightspeed Systems community for their continued product feedback and support to help us serve you even better in 2018.
2. Our Lightspeed Systems family
If you talk with anyone here at Lightspeed, one thing’s clear: we’re a family and work to bring our community closer together. We’ve had some fun times this year, looking back:
3. Events around the world where we get to meet with you
Our teams are always on the road, meeting with our customers and attending trade shows to help answer your 1:1 device questions and set you up for success.
This year, we’ve attended over 80 tradeshows, lunch & learns and other events to meet face-to-face with you (think of all those frequent flier miles!). We know how hard the event teams at tradeshows, big and small, work to put on the best shows for edtech.
We look forward to seeing you at upcoming events and shows. See where we’re headed for the rest of the year here!
4. Our Partners
To bring you the solutions you need to power learning, the Lightspeed Systems team works with a network of Partners around the world to help.
This year, we teamed up with numerous K-12 focused companies and aligned with state and regional contracts to make securing Lightspeed Systems solutions more accessible to schools.
Thank you to all our valued Lightspeed Systems Partners!
5. Our Customer Evangelists
We’re proud to have some of the best advocates in the trenches, working with Lightspeed Systems solutions to keep student devices safe and managed. Our Customer Reference Program helps elevate you as a thought-leader in K-12 edtech.
Glenns Ferry IT Director Andrew Moore and Wilson County System Administrator Justin Koehn recently lent their stories of success for the cover story on CIOReview.
That’s just one example — there are many ways to elevate yourself professionally through the Customer Reference Program such as speaking at tradeshows, co-hosting a Lunch & Learn event or sharing your story in an article. We support you every step of the way in whichever manner you’d prefer. Fill out this quick form to get started!
Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Lightspeed Systems!
